Artists Lisa Evans and Melanie Feerst met pouring bronze at the School of the Art Institute’s foundry class over 20 years ago.
Recently, speaking a common language of glass, Lisa and Melanie designed RADIANT JAM, a series of pendants featuring printed patterns enameled on glass.
The earliest stages were spent discussing ideas, patterns, and outcomes. For both, creativity was sparked by speaking a common language (glass) and experimentation.
Lisa Evans is a teaching artist who works in a variety of media and lives in Illinois.
