Rhinestone buttons

Rhinestone buttons

Rhinestone buttons are glued to a white pvc pipe section (the gate) and ready for mold making.

Introducing BUTTON

Introducing BUTTON

Button is fabricated exactly like BROOCH, but at a smaller scale.  Great for everyday wear.

Source pieces for BROOCH

Source pieces for BROOCH

I choose a rhinestone brooch solely for the pattern, ignoring the spectacular colors.  When recast in solid urethane resin, the color returns.

Melanie Feerst Studio Sculptural Jewelry and Functional Art Glass

Quirky and provocative with an industrial edge, work from Melanie Feerst Studio is inspired by dark humor, Japanese design and the medical or fetishized body.  Fabricated with industrial rubber and studio-designed 3D printed parts, the pieces are occasionally deceptive (lighter than they look), multifunctional (ability to switch out parts or turn over) or nostalgic (parts repurposed based on their form).
